Shape: generally vulpine but is otherwise polymorphic Classification: Sentient nanocolony without rigid skeleton Manufacturer: Gentech Systems / Gendyne Technologies Inc. Model Designation: P22 Havok

Description

The P22 is the only machine intelligence produced by GTI and was more stolen from another company rather than developed. A nanomachine suspension in a malleable conductive matrix, the P22 promised to provide excellent infiltration and hacking capabilities in stealth and also in direct combat. Capable of expanding and producing more of itself provided a suitable input of raw material, only two of these units survived the exodus from Tak'nhet. One remained with its makers under the designation of Havoc and the other escaped with a number of P23 units and was later accepted as one of the many machine minds living with the refugees. Wishing to show a more pleasant face to its new allies, it took on the designation of Mercy.

Havoc

Havoc was kept and deployed during an assault that eventually reached Spindizzy where it was instrumental in capturing the demon-hybridized P16 unit Aarlynn. When the assault force was destroyed, Havoc was one of the few entities to escape, and because it was still loyal to a now dead commander but without means of altering its objectives, it instead fled and began altering itself. Havoc alpha was soon referred to as the original Havoc with Beta being the super-massive expansion it later achieved.

Gamma was soon the designation for the spawn of Beta, and these became worker drones of a sort send in large numbers to obtain materials by any means necessary as well as aid in Beta's defense. A very specialized series of Delta unist was made for the sole task of capturing one other living machine with a magic power core. While they failed, one Delta was lost to the Asreal Freefall who trapped it and eventually ended up hybridizing with it so that both would survive as something new.

Mercy

The Mercy nanocolony also expanded but only into identical sister units through binary fission. All Mercy class units became masters of the medical field, and each one chose different specialties as well as nanomachine adjustments to make them into better doctors and surgeons. Because of this, Mercy units are well trusted by organic and machines alike regardless of whether they specialized in the repair of organic or inorganic systems. At the extreme, they can serve as an on-site live support system and can keep even the most devastating wounds from being fatal by mimicking the damaged organs.
