The Asreal are one of the most spectacular and strange androids that came out of the Tak'Nhetian - Hycycanth conflict starting with the construction of Sabre and carried onward through her progeny. All Asreal have a number of common traits:
- Asreal are all kangaroo or wallaby shaped.
- All Asreal have a pouch regardless of the gender of their personality or appearance. This is their nano-assembly bay where new Asreal begin from a core.
- A psionic core resides in the chest of ever Asreal except Sabre who has a second core in her hip region. It often contains the spark needed for magic as well, but it is the single object inside of them that defines who they are just as an organic brain would.
- Asreal have two power systems though they vary widely. All has a fusion cell backup unit, and the rest are divided among magic-like and dark-matter annihilator systems
- All Asreal have dorsal bleed vents. In older models, these are long black spikes that eject out the back to vent excess energy from the core when running under high demand. In later units, they can instead appear as wings made from energy of varying type, and this is thought to be due to Ember's contribution to the lineage.
