Mia is the same species as Shadowstalker, but she hails from a time long after the war between her kind and a insectoid race called the Hycyanth. As a natural born, as opposed to cloned, person, she has an intact soul and resilience against outside tampering that earlier generations lacked. She is a medic by trade with specialization in cybernetics, including the blue sight augments on her cheekbones, with a great deal of ship and android engineering knowledge from her mate, Geet, who was killed in an engine test just before the couple was awarded a permit to have children. Mia used this permit as a broader reason to make life in general and created Avinar with all the knowledge she had from Geet, and the quirky little android is her son as far as she is concerned. Mia is bold, confident, and does not shy away from getting her paws dirty even if she is not allowed to carry weapons meant for lethal attacks due to treaties. She is a capable pilot and is captain of her own ship, the TNV Fubar, and she knows that that word means. She also has a habit of bending rules to near breaking which is how she has turned up on Spindizzy using her ship’s engines in creative ways to travel across not only space but time with a little help from Avinar.
Mia carries a SAS pistol, a size adjustment system that equates most often to a shrink ray but she can run it in reverse. She has a larger backpack unit for serious work. She also packs a pair of repulsor fields in her paws that carry three charges each and can toss a person across a small room because she likes to make it very clear when no mean no.
