Keene
Keene is a young, natural born Felyxa and a card class weaver, and that has been a problem. Because of the natural of his family's existence, no one among his kind knows how to deal with him. His growing power, however, did seem to awaken his parents to their own innate abilities. With all three of them now able to sense intentions and surface thoughts, keeping them close in the company became a large problem.
Iris moved the Felyxa family so a more distant world small population centers and plenty of land to road, hunt, and otherwise be out of the company's hair. However, that places Keene in an isolated location where the background ripples he makes in the weave can be detected from far away. In this case, the Pulsar's main computer has recognized the trigger and begun waking the crew from hypersleep. More importantly, the ship's card has awoken and detected another of her kind.
Keene is being drawn now towards the Pulsar by dreams and visions that grow stronger by the day. The sense of belonging from another card and a race he feels he knows but doesn't has pulled his whole family back to the starts and towards the ship. Iris has taken note of this, and rather than stop them, they are facilitating the journey with the idea they may be able to acquire more advanced technology from the ship that Keene can somehow unlock.
