Personality
Landon is a lot like his father in that he is a very outgoing individual, and he is typically thought of as friendly. He tends to be more of a geek, and his passions lie in spacecraft and other vehicle engineering. He is an accomplished but not over confident pilot. When he goes to attempt something, he is usually confident he can accomplish it, and if he is not, he will go about it another way.
Landon has a very strong "no one left behind" mentality, and he will fly into hostile territory if there is any chance he can rescue someone associated with him. This has only gotten stronger with the addition of the esper Lucky as his navigator. ONe of the hardest things he ever did was fly back through flack to retrieve his father Ardan from a battlefield. Even though his father did not survive, he and his mother were able to give him a proper burial.
Physical Description
Landon is a large fellow standing roughly 7.75 feet tall with an additional 2.5 feet worth of thick tail somewhat kin to the tails of otters. The overall shape of his body is a bit like a giant otter until one takes into account the color patterns of his fur, the structure of his head, and the fact that he has four arms instead of two. Landon's head bears a strong resemblance to a thylacine with a long jaw and small rounded ears. His muzzle is filled with small, conical teeth that gives his smile a slightly unnerving appearance. He has the thylacine yellow fur coat and the brown-black stripes along his lower back, hips, and a the base of his tail. His arms look solid and his hands strong, each finger capped with a short, stout claw that is as good for climbing as it is in combat. Rather than a large nose, he has two subtle slits on the side of his muzzle as nostrils. His eyes are a green like jade, something that sets him apart from the Felyxa stock that his species was based on.
Landon is typically found in either a pilot's uniform or light armor that looks geared more towards being protective gear while working on projects in a shop. The fact that he almost never shows up in anything 'normal' tailored to fit him is less due to a lack of opportunity or funding to get such, but a lack of desire to be distracted by a wardrobe when he could be flying or engineering something. He tends to be highly expressive and, despite a very definite build as a combat unit, he is generally quite friendly. In addition to his suits, he tends to carry around a few tablets and a backpack full of half electronics and half snack food. The fact that he is a psion is something he doesn't advertise unless doing so is necessary.
Psionics
Like his father, Landon is gifted with psionics, but his powers are much less combat oriented and far more utilitarian. Able to heal himself or another at an accelerated rate is probably the most common manifestation of his powers. Just beyond that is his ability to touch electronics and access them as if he were connected to them. This operations as a sort of machine ghost comes with its own perils, but he spends a great deal of time learning how to get around them. Both telepathy and telekinesis are within his ability. He has used the latter to try and fly, but he tends to crash most of the time.
Landon has a small degree of pre-cognition that comes from a very small amount of weave reading he can perform. This has in part been why he is such an excellent pilot. Furthermore, his telepathic link and machine ghost skills allow him to be one with his ship and with Lucky when they fly.

- Psionic Power Sources
- Psionic power draws on its own form of energy. It is sometimes also called ki or chi, and it represents a willful manifestation of the psion's imagination and mental control. This reservoir is not infinite, and once it is depleted, there are few other sources of energy that can fuel these powers. Each person has a different way they manifest their recharging skill. For Landon, he tends to eat and not gain weight. Whether the food actually becomes energy, or the act of eating is just a surrogate for some other source of power, no one knows.
- When a psion like Landon tried to use power beyond their psionic reserves, the next source of power is their life force. Drawing on the life force provides a large amount of power at the price of inevitable self injury and eventual death. Injury often manifests along the central nervous system first in Landon's case, but the damage is often near and not directly on parts of the CNS. Bleeding from the nose is often first, then from the mouth, and then internally. Because of this, Landon is very careful not to overextend himself under most circumstances.
Non-Combat Skills
- Telepathy - Skilled - Direct mind to mind communication.
- Telekinesis - Moderate - Can lift about 500 lbs. Not generally suitable for combat
- Machine Ghost - Highly skilled - Interface with machines he is in contact with
- Heal Self: - Moderate - The ability to heal at a rapid rate at the cost of psionic reserve power.
- Heal Other - Moderate - The ability to heal someone else. Must be in physical contact.
Combat Skills
- Psi-Weapon - Skilled
- Sword - A 30 inch long light sword style with a classic cross guard. He does know how to sword fight. Useful again unwarded, mundane materials.
- Claws - Instinctive - Six inch long cutting claws on fingers of all four arms. Generally only manifests in moments of desperation during combat.
- Barrier - SKilled - A barrier that acts as a shield against small to moderate firearms, low to mid grade magic, and mundane area effect attacks.

- He is the designer pilot of the GLF FX-13AR Liberator which was designed with the esper Lucky in mind.
