IIGD Dasher
The Dasher series was meant to operate as close to mid range combatant with the possibility of functionality. They are the fastest hexapod unit, are armed with sharp claws and conical teeth, and most have an excellent sense of their surroundings that allows them to carry up two four ranged weapons in their hands simultaneously.
Dashers are often seen as highly energetic and hard to handle. Young ones can be easily distracted, and it takes a strong, consistent hand to raise them well. However, they are also devoted to their core family and their allies, and they are often considered fearless when they sense one of these people are in need. Because of their high energy, they are often assigned to sports activities to maintain their physical well being and entertain themselves and onlookers.
Dashers are pack hunters by nature, and like all the hex units, the female usually leads if one is present. They excel at coordinated attacks, and their size and combat skills has been shown to be demoralizing to enemy units.
Secondary roles for dashers often include roles as pilots or trackers although some have specialized in technical roles.
