The Origin Particle
Echo is unique in that it bears the same symmetry as the origin particle when it broke just before other forces began to separate. It could be said that Echo is the first true chodonex and that Echo, Ritz, and Flare are the result of the first shell death. This would also be consistent with his ability to recall things earlier than Ritz and Flare. Echo knows of his siblings as well, but it has made no attempt to contact them. If one were to listen to Echo long enough, they might eventually tease out that it knows of the force before, the Chaos that exists in so many ways that calls itself Virgil
Nearly Invisible
Echo cannot be seen or detected by any means that looks or is aimed directly at it. However, it appears on the periphery of vision as a fuzzy mote that prefers to settle on the right shoulder of different people.
Miracle Worker
Echo takes its name from the sound of things past heard once again on reflection, and this is more than just an acoustic reference. The revert transition lies so close to ground for Echo that it can be seem as an agent of second chances. Because Echo tends to follow a person for a lifetime, they are often seen as lucky due to the number of reversions Echo affords. EVen more extraordinary is Echo's ability to use Open. Because it is a higher transition, it requires quite an effort, but his primary targets are heart and mind. To open a heart or a mind on a metaphysical level is a feat the others can't accomplish in quite the same way as Echo. While Ritz is the master of open, he has never been able to open a heart or mind directly outside of the dreamscape.
Slow and Ponderous
For Echo, the open verb is very demanding and rush is almost impossible because of his low occupancy. The emotional power needed to use rush is almost enough to break Echo, and as a result, Echo opts to just meander and follow a few lives here and there as it wishes rather than wander the stars. He is better known as a gentle meddler than a great explorer or messenger of anything.
