Physical Appearance

Abby is a small sugar glider with mostly gray fur, large expressive eyes, and a pouch rather than breasts as is common for marsupials. She is almost always found wearing casual or business casual clothes and carrying a messenger bag with a number of books and a laptop that she guards at all times. She often wears dark sunglasses and carries a cane that make it quite obvious that the muse is blind.

Origin

Abby is unique among the muses in that she has her origin with Gravitas in the Darkness rather that with The Jinx in the land of Dreams. Abagail consists of the first page of Gravitas' journal, a sheet that stretched out into a fuzzy flat shape and popped up in the form of a sugar glider. With such a form, she glided through the darkness and continued being a living journal. Within the pages of her own books lives the records of the universe, and these records prevent the Darkness from rewriting them. Abagail was originally known as The Aberration , and her power was one the Darkness could not crush. Through the ages, her name changed and be Aberrant and then Abby. With some sense of humor, she took on the last name of Normal.

Abby's Book

Abby maintains a series of books that have linked ring motifs as their covers. These links represent the links of different lives and powers and their ability to control the universe around them. The last universe exists as a tome that is now closed while the fledgling universe that was born from the wreckage of the last is still in her possession. These books are prized possessions for the Darkness, and if not for her friends and more that protect her, Abby would be under constant attack from the Darkness. So long as she keeps these books, the past cannot be re-written.

Relation with Candice

Abby has a special relationship with Candice White. The rabbit lost her sight among other things to The Nothing, and Abby gave up her sight to allow Candice to see once again. As a result, Candice's vision in images sometimes foretells the near future.

Abby on Spindizzy

Abby still inspired writers through workshops and even the occasional incursions on dreams. She still works through news columns including 'Dear Abby' where she tries to influence mortal life with the slightly unfair knowledge of what might be just around the corner.
