Candice is a muse on Spinizzy and one of only two whimsies on the planetoid She is among the younger muse at the age of 125 years, and aside from half of her left ear which is now missing after a run in with a reaper, she hasn't aged beyond her mid twenties. AS a muse of painting, she is both the guardian of painting history and techniques but also an agent meant to inspire other painters. Unlike a true muse, her status as a whimsy allows her to paint for herself and generate dangerous self amplification loops. While not generally a combatant, she can cause chaos and disasters when she allows what she paints to become reality.

Physical Appearance

Somewhere between painter and coffee brewer, Candice is prone to wearing a lot of clothes that she can toss into a trash can at the end of the day. While her shirt might vary in hue, usually pastels of some kind, she's almost invariably found in some kind of jeans. Neither shirt nor pants are ever without some sign of paint, be it a little fleck that refused to come out in the wash or some older stain that will be with the garb until its end of days. Should she be wearing it, her apron has seen plenty of little coffee spills but far more paint splotches and smears from a brush. It's just about become a piece of art of its own with coworkers and patrons adding to it on occasion. It will, no doubt, end up on a wall someday.
Candy herself is a white rabbit with a very average build. She might be in her mid-thirties though it's hard to tell. She wears glasses on occasion though none know if they are just for show or not. Most of her fur is quite clean except for her paws which are almost always stained with reds or yellows, dyes that never come out of fur easily though she takes no shame in this. Her most notable characteristic is her left ear. The upper third has been cut clean off at a diagonal down and away from her other ear. Her long ears are usually tied back with a blue paisley do rag, her dark brown hair pulled back with them in a short braid that ends at the base of her neck.
Her green eyes are filled with life, her smile warm, and her manner almost always welcoming. There is a definite air of mischief though, and innocence is certainly not one of her merits. Generally playful, she's sure to keep you busy if you follow the white rabbit.

Candice in England

Candice has a very unusual origin in a powerful temporal feedback loop causes by her future self causing Morticon an Zen to enter upon a quest that looped them into Abigail's fate lines and finally back through time to the point of Candice's origins where Morticon bailed an unwitting artist out by finishing a painting that night by inserting Candice as the painting's subject. Candice shortly thereafter exited the painting, repainted herself back in place, and began her days in England without ever aging past what she appeared as in the initial painting, a fat that would one day bring a great calamity into her life.

Thomas March

Like most muses, Candice was meant to inspire and move on without ever playing much of a noticeable presence to the public. Candice, however, found herself smitten with a handsome architect named Thomas March. While he did do some building designs, he was fond of designing dirigibles, but it was his fondness for painting landscapes that caused Candice to gravitate towards him.

At first, Candice was only inspiring him with wild ideas ad the occasional conversations of fantastic beasts living in the landscapes he painted. Eventually this became a loop where one inspired the other, and Candice drifted further from her role as a muse until she finally married Thomas.
Candice and Thomas enjoyed fifteen year of marriage before Thomas started to notice subtle signs that his wife was not normal. Beyond her unspoiled appearance, she never grew ill, and he could see the ways a few words from her could crumble an artist's block. But the real issue would come not in the waking world but in dreams.

Thomas is a an Architect class dreamer which means that he continually generates an enormous amount of imaginative ideas that he must shed in order to keep his sanity, and it is in dreams that these strange creations take flight and become the worlds and creatures other dreamers would one day find. Being with Candice was like a catalyst, and the burden of creation was beginning to wear on Thomas to the point that he became aware of what happened when he slept, and he became aware that she was there. Candice was always there, waking or sleeping world, she was with him.

It was not out of any negative emotion that Thomas bore towards his wife but instead a fear that he was losing his mind, and in the end, he did. When he discovered the original painting of Candice made decades before he was born, he snapped. He could not handle this reality, and so he simply left, vanishing from the realm world into one of his making that would become the setting of one adventure in Wonderland.
