Physical Description

There is not hiding that Leroy comes from a mix of species. His overall body shape is sleek and tubular like that of an otter, but there are components that make it obvious that he is more than that involving not only proportion but also color. Instead of the small, round ears of an otter, Leroy's are quite long but not quite to rabbit scale. His tail is also different in being thick at the base like an otter tail, but the overall length is longer and more on the scale of a rodent. He also has teeth much more like a rodent with a few sharper teeth in there that a rodent wouldn't have. The mixing of the species makes it hard for those who don't know these little signs, but the truth is that Leroy is a mix of otter and jerboa.

Just as his physiology is different, so are his colors. The usual base coat of brown and lighter tan of an otter form the base, but there are a number of anomalies. From his elbows to his paws, the brown gives way to a dark crimson color, and this color appears on the tips, both front and back, of his ears. The rest of the inside of his ears is a burnt orange color that appears again as bands along the length of his tail. Both fingers and toes are an off white hue. Even his eyes are a little different in being a deep purple color.

Leroy comes from the same conflict as Landon but he was in a different series of units. The song of Kade Alpha, he was conceived at a time when the only other living person on the ship was an otter, and they were very sure they were never going to make it home alive. They were rescued, Leroy was born, and he was very well cared for by both parents despite the conditions under which he came into the world. He knows a little bit of basic magic, enough to make a couple distracting sounds or flickers of light, but most of his skill is in flying transports and cheating at poker. He is good with computers, security systems, and explosives.
