New Experimental Darkness

At this late in the universal war between Darkness and the corruption of light, new Darkness are being tried. Calamity is a veil style Darkness which means she was built for stealth with the purpose of sneaking up on and attacking entities like espers and chaos from ambush positions. As such, Calamity is quipped with the ability to transit space at high speed and cloak herself.

Chaos Resistance

The greatest weakness of Darkness are Chaos and its light. Calamity was created with the ability to resist change due to Chaos exposure for longer than most older Darkness. Slight flexibility allows to deformation without permanent change

Corrupted Unit

After trying to tackle Lucky, Calamity was infected by the esper due to the sheer amount of bad luck that was turned against her. However, Lucky was in a position of weakness and did not immediately retaliate. Because of this, Calamity was deformed beyond her specifications and wandered away on her own. Lucky gave her the name Calida after realizing that the young Darkness was dubbed Calamity by her kin after the encounter.

Free Thought

Because of the interaction with Lucky, Calamity has free thought. Unlike older Darkness that can be destroyed by this trait, her adaptability allows her to persevere. However, she is also very young in terms of Darkness, and her logic is simple as a child as is her devotion. She is allied to Lucky whether the esper desires it or not.
