Purpose
The purpose of the Whimsy class intelligence system is to:
1. Appear indistinguishable from organic life 2. Operate under the D.A.A.D protocol to maintain intel superiority
The D.A.A.D. protocol is as follows:
Discover: Seek out and discover new information
Access: Access discovered data without being detected
Acquire: Acquire copies of data accessed
Destroy: Destroy all traces of detection and access.
By law, androids must display non-natural decoration to identify them as androids. Whimsy can deactivate these markings at will to hide itself. Doing so alone is a breach of international law, and the intelligence gathering capabilities are an act of war.
Description
Whimsy is a jerboa with long ears, spindly legs, and a long tufted tail that are characteristic of his species. Eyes, cooling system, fur, and voice are all made to approximate a living being an, short of a blood draw or other large injury, is unlikely to expose itself as an android. When they are activated, Whimsy's markings consist of a series of circled on the ears, and between the shoulders that are bisected by a single line that goes from ear tips to head, back of the neck, and down to the tail to end with a ring at the base of the tail. A line runs from wrist to shoulder, over the large circle at the supper back, and to the other shoulder and wrist. When active, they glow blue-green.
Armament
Whimsy, as a prototype, does not possess any form of conventional weapon. Whimsy is only dangerous to wireless communications and any system that he wires himself into. Speed, agility, and manipulation of the electronic environment are his only real defense.
