Appearance

The appearance of Wendigo is very difficult to know for certain. Because magical skill to changer her shape, size, and species, there are few if any records of her true nature. The last known appearance of Wendigo on Spindizzy involved her changing her shape to that of a female wallaby with which she enticed Morticon by acting as if her car had broken down. Having made off with a sample of Morticon's fur, she was responsible for the creation of a gris gris that later caused Morticon to wander into Neopolis for a coffee with a mysterious ferret.

Despite her appearances and species, Wendigo is not Australian but rather appears to have originated in an environment more like New Orleans. As to what era she grew up in, no one knows. In fact, there is no consensus on Wendigo's age and whether she ages at all or simply maintains a youthful appearance through magic.

Shapeshifting

Wendigo can alter her size, shape, species, but not her gender using magic. It is not clear is gender is a blocking factor or simply a line she does not wish to cross. Most of her species shifts have been Australian, but this may only be a means of misleading investigators.

Alchemy

Wendigo is capable of mixing potions from natural material and magic ranging from sleeping potions, truth serums, or even some of the more classical zombification methods that don't necessarily kill the target but instead turn them into a mindless slave. Her use of such appears to be isolated to single targets as a matter of preference for small, subtle operations.
