Background

Sahnket is a white-wing class ryknix which means she is not only a strange alien bat like thing, but she also has a little spark of magic. Like all ryknix, she is a skilled close-combat fighter provided she has the right sort of weapons which usually consists of a rigid, padded wing guard that may or may not be bladed. This is not a military issue but more of a subsistence hunting issue that all ryknix share.

As a white-wing, Sahnket possesses powerful curative magic that, unfortunately, proved historically to be as dangerous as any weapon when used on a world with a delicate ecosystem. Guilty of using her abilities to keep her twin brother alive, he eventually survived long enough to join the Ghosts and leave Rykna. With him gone, Sahnket opted to take a chance on a gate and see where her new life might lead.

Sahnket loves languages, history, and literature, and she knows her world's history well along with a smattering of others. Her hearing is excellent, and she liked trying to decider other languages. She most often works as a librarian, and she takes shelter where she can find it. She is generally friendly, but she's not the gullible sort that would make her the easy deceive. She has a strange obsession with oranges and other citrus fruit to the point that she can be lured out with oranges and tends to get a little high from eating a number of them.
