PIXC

The PIXC is one of the oldest units the Chimera Core and Protein solutions produced that still sees occasional deployment. They use a synthetic organic neural network to produce a living computer that is housed in a mobile chassis. It is not considered a living being by conventional standards because of the cyber implements used to form the body and house the organic processor. Instead, they are classified as a bio-droid. Small, flight capable, and available in many colors and patters, they are expensive but exceptionally high performance computational systems. They are capable of understanding emotions, but their own are dampened along with impaired self-preservation impulses that make them unlikely to flinch in getting between their owner and a threat.
