Born a Madman

Ghopeci manifested in an old maximum security psychiatric ward where he band rapidly consuming those that were kept in solitary confinement. Each one made him less coherent and prone to consuming easy meals as soon as they presented themselves. When his activities caused the shutdown of the asylum, he vacated it to wander into the growing criminal world that prohibition had created where he started killing once again. Hitmen were the easiest to catch between jobs, and a little at a time these prey turned Ghopeci from a madman unto a methodical serial killer.

Maple's Nemesis

Maple's rise in the Chicago PD made Ghopeci feel she needed a proper archenemy, and he declared himself such. Decorating Chicago crime dens and alleyways with the bodies of victims that had been slowly tortured and pulled apart, he always made sure Maple would know about them. From their expressions, the victims had been injected with something that caused and vastly increased the ability to feel pain. With Maple kept on other tasks, Ghopeci eventually went underground to wait for a time when she would be less distracted while he made case after case for other cities to follow without success. Ghopeci has been seen and he is known, but few if any live witnesses remain. He is considered at large, and as he is a monstrous race, he is to be terminated on sight.
