Displaced Spirits of the Garden

Spirits are not uncommon in the garden, and with its age there should be no surprise that some stronger spirits dominate the area especially some of those that belong to the trees. What is very unusual is that some of them appear as triplicates. They segregate as follows:

• Confused spirits that are very surprised at the appearance of other versions of themselves
• Slightly older copies that seem also confused and caught between the original and the final copy
• Spirits ready for war. Perhaps not just ready but have been and are returning to fight again.

The pattern holds for lesser spirits though sometimes there is only the current time and the war version of themselves.

They do seem to share a sentiment though as they look back on you, Maynard. "Why is this one whole and alone?"
