Lycan / Hellhound Properties

Myka's forms exist on a continuum from a rather plain looking anthro wolf to a red eyed, black furred monster. Rather than there being discrete forms within this, there is instead a mix of traits that can have different intensities that depend more on mood and moon phase when they go beyond what Myka can control. However, Myka is always some mix of the hellhound and lycan markings, and the wolf is always female.

When changing willingly to their wolf forms, Myka can choose some of how she looks. Most of the time, she chooses to look like a regular wolf with blue eyes. This form is easier to blend in with others even if she is a bit tall and well toned. She can, however, darken her colors to change her eyes to red as these are traits of her hellhound side. Her size can vary from tall but otherwise mundane to a monser roughly the size of a draft horse. The bigger she gets, the more hellhound will come out until her full size is always near black with red eye andunnaturally sharp teeth and claws. This form is what has earned her the nickname Fenrir after the creature in Norse mythology.

Like most lycans, she has incredible regenerative abilities and strength beyond what her size would suggest. She is vulnerable to silver and, to a lesser extent, strong holy wards. Silver can temporarily disable her regeneration, and holy magic can do extra damage to her. However, while she suffers from both vulnerabilities, the magnitudes are slightly less because of her mixed heritage.

Ferret Properties

In his ferret shape, Myka can easily pass for utterly mundane. While he avoids silver and holy magic, they are both far weaker against him in this shape. However, his strength, speed, and regeneration are all beyond normal, they too are also greatly diminished in his non-lycan forms. As a result, Myka tends to appear as a lycan most of the time, and he uses his ferret form as a means of hiding from prying eyes, hunters, and other hostile forces. He can pass off his enhanced reflexes and strength as being something anyone with a good gym membership could manage.
